Challenges
After 40 successful years selling quality outdoor merchandise to retailers, Outdoor Products was ready to tap into the consumer marketplace. Part of our recommendation was to breath new life into a dated brand. To do so successfully, we would need to create something that current retailers and customers would recognize and be comfortable with, and new customers would be attracted to. The other component—and this one was a biggie—was to design and launch a new ecommerce site to sell hundreds of products and represent their unique brand.

Establishing our new brand was a major endeavor, and required our complete trust in the process and the team. The new brand honored our past while bringing us into the present, and the new website allowed us to finally tap into the consumer marketplace with confidence.

Solutions
We started our work with a complete brand refresh: new logo, new color scheme, new fonts, new tagline, new everything. Next, the new brand would need to be applied across the board—on marketing materials, hundreds of products, packaging, social media profiles, the new website and massive tradeshow booth. After successfully creating and launching each of these elements, we established a thorough brand standards guide so their in-house design team could continue where we left off with ease.
