DecoCoat Polymer Systems manufactures surface coating solutions for decorative or functional applications. DecoCoat’s biggest problem? Their existing company website simply vanished; totally disappeared into the websphere (without a trace). Though bizarre, their situation isn’t entirely unique. These sorts of things can happen, but are avoidable when partnering with the right team (ahem, Dot Pixel). So, we had to start from scratch, armed with nothing but the text content, and a PDF showing a few pages of the old design. They needed the site quickly and within budget.

Considering the timeline and budget, we decided that a fully-customizable WordPress theme was the way to go. We found a theme that worked well with their specific requirements and went to work. We refreshed the branding for a more modern look, and revised the user experience to present the information in an easily digestible manner. We researched and found a hosting solution that worked well for them, including—wait for it—database backup and restore.
